so last night there is this woman talking nasally on her mobile phone. Some guy not wearing a mask properly is picking his nose like he is going to wear it out and another person not wearing a mask at all are both sitting nearby. There are more people down the tram not wearing masks. So I start moaning every time she talks. Eventually she takes exception and I ask why you assume I want to listen to you talk. Apparently she was here before me; I asked why was that a protocol.

eventually everyone takes up her defense and I point out the idiots not wearing masks and the terminal nose picker.

its official. The world has gone insane. Defend the annoying phone woman but leave other mad people to their own devices.

I remember when mobile phones were in their infancy. People used to talk about work on their way to work. For six months or so, people had every right to ask why they had to listen to someone else's business on the way to their own business. That died out pretty fast.

time to buy an air horn. Let the arrogant jerks deal with my assumption of what is acceptable.
