so many thoughts of now but tinged with so many thoughts of then. Thinking about how did I get to here, being (age omitted) and all.
I actually think about the first post. Finding a British passport at the local supermarket and my quest to reunite it with its owner. It was actually an affirmation about here. My local area. Then whilst being in lock down and thinking about the common good. Having a look around and not only observing but interacting in whatever limited way I could. It's been interesting talking with people and managing the occasional laugh. I think it would be interesting for other people to do their own thoughts of now blog wherever they are all over the world
there has been some discussion of local and international politics in relation to the mess we are in right now. A few entries about some of my musical heroes and some just plain nonsense, especially in the area of political correctness. One of the main series of posts that is ongoing is the plague entries of the diary of Samuel Pepys, observing the differences and similarities to now.
now recently I have stopped letting people know of these posts in Facebook messenger because some people complained. You don't have to read them and no one is holding a gun to your head. However, if you do want to get a notification, please let me know.
thanks to Herb in America whose thoughts have changed and expanded my outlook to the point that has inspired me to write material in this blog. Plus he's a good rockin' buddy. And my sister who been a barometer of how my perspective has changed at times.
and thanks to the dedicated throng who have stuck with my serial ramblings. This has not only been fun and sometimes confronting but it has helped me get in touch with here - now.
