so last night I thought I'd watch a bit of late night television; In particular, a fantastic piece of investigative journalism. Bit of a dying art in this day and age - Biden v Trump:The Choice 2020. The program looked at the history and actions of each respective candidate, without fear or favor. No bias and pretty much left nothing to the imagination.
My conclusion? I had my doubts before but now I can safely say that after last night I have become bipartisan. If confronted I would vote for neither of these people. For the hypothetical prospect of voting in the United States election, I thank the invisible man in the sky I wasn't born in that country.
today I watched a YouTube clip that raised some questions of their own
now I have concerns about the result of this election in relation to our own country, specifically their respective policy platforms, but I have not the slightest idea what they are. One has only one policy - get rid of the other and the other is a bully and a creep whose opinion is based on the sound of his own, ill-informed voice.
Either way, we are screwed and we have no idea as to actually how we are going to be screwed.
having watched the first debate and ever since then, the whole race has been reduced to conflicting styles of arrogance. Not that I can discriminate for or against either. The overall picture is one of disgusting. And just plain exhausting.
then another consideration as to how irresponsible they all are. One is 74 years old and the other is 77 - this is prime virus dying age! If either of them wins and dies, the speaker of the house can appoint their respective vice president. If something should happen to them then the job goes to the speaker, and she's 80! Just imagine the subsequent and hilarious mayhem that will occur as a result of that.
I have said this before -
"Sheriff, does this look like a mess?"
"I don't know, but it'll do until the mess gets here."
