now here's something that you really don't do

this image is a preface to what happened all along Bourke Street Melbourne, 20 January 2017. This crazy person, speeding of his tree, was subsequently found guilty of six counts of murder and seriously injuring twenty seven others. Now today, a lame version of a potentially similar thing happened again today. Police attempted to pull over a green Toyota Corolla near 5pm at Bourke Street near Swanston Street, however the vehicle mounted a kerb and sped off.

the vehicle was followed by the Victoria Police Air Wing and last sighted in the St Kilda area. Investigations into the incident remain ongoing and the vehicle remains outstanding. There have been no reports of any injuries connected to the incident.

now the response has been amazing in that the powers that be have really learnt from the lessons on that fateful day in January 2017. I was there on that day and thankfully, I was early and down the Spencer Street end of Bourke Street. The subsequent horror and madness floored everyone. A few co workers actually witnessed some of the deaths. Others witnessed people running away begging people to get the hell out of the area.

In the history of incredibly stupid things not to do, or to remotely emulate for that matter, I can't even to begin to think of something that even remotely comes a close second.
