standard apolitical caveat; don't take anything I say as embracing or dismissing any inherent bias or affiliation - that's your baggage and I don't give a shit.
so a few days ago I wake up to Mitch McConnell saying a whole bunch of scathing things about the process of the United States election, but the only thing that was reported was that he conceded that Biden was the next president, along with tacky tweets by Trump in his usual agree with me or you are out style.
this morning I see testimony from numerous republicans condemning the role of social media and big tech in reporting the ordained conclusion that Biden won.
now the whole thing in my mind comes across as a first way tie for last and you can choose as to who exactly is the disaster and who is the train wreck. Meanwhile there is discussion about a civil war between factions of the republican party, who will have to deal with so many other factions from the democrats to numerous other social justice warrior interest groups.
I don't know if this is a concession in regards to the democratic and legal process but they are opening the file again on the business dealings of Hunter Biden. My thoughts on this is and so they should beyond the assurances of nothing to see here from his father.
to put salt in the wound there is the added insanity of the mental state of the nation in relation to the corona virus.
give it a month and I think that all these self-interested wankers will start tearing each other apart, maybe with some overriding confusion as to who they specifically hate or which faction they hate more.
but the whole thing is shaping up to a giant mess, where I so dearly wish to be wrong. To compound all this - what if Biden dies? The guy comes across like a seizure wrapped in a stroke at the best of times.
the other side of the coin is Trump decides he is not going anywhere in January until he gets what he wants. Not exactly sure how many gates of hell that will open as a result, but I can see him do it. Now news just in today and Trump is telling advisers he will refuse to leave.
