anyway, back to the matter of the day. On the weekend I caught the tram and half the passengers weren't wearing masks. The majority of them looked like able bodied people. Now all along during this bizarre moment in time I have complied. I hate it, but I have complied. Sitting on the tram and looking around me I want to ask a question. I don't want to complain but, what's the point? If so many people around me are not complying, why should I bother? Sure could be a great cash grab for the revenue raising authorities on this tram line alone.
on the way home I had a chat with a woman wearing a face shield. I used to wear one of those before they banned them. She told me how she used to wear a mask but because of breathing difficulties she got an exemption from her doctor. The doctor told her that the exemption could extend to her not wearing a mask at all but she wanted to at least try to do her best to comply, not only for the her own protection but for the protection of others. I commended her for her actions but my perspective is I wore a face shield for months and all of a sudden they banned them
so please, looking around at all this disregard and nonsense, just tell me what to do. The whole thing is just exhausting and I am so beyond anger.
