whose resolution?

so I have a list and really don't feel the need to go over it. After all the things I have (and haven't) done last year I'm fully aware of the things I need to resolve. Last year it was not suggested but was enforced that I had to stay away, stay indoors, travel smaller distances, cover up, don't wear a face shield and comply overall. Frankly, I thought some of these weren't really thought through well and some of these were just plain stupid. One moment there were measures that were insane, especially in the case of certain types of lock down, then there were actions, or lack of, that were just plain ignorant, like the lack of masks and social distancing at Centrelink branches from March to July, after over 1 million people had visited those branches nationwide.

maybe rather than bearing my soul in regards to the things I need to resolve, can I ask the powers that be that this year, before you implement some edict or measure based on your perception of how it will enhance the common good, Think it through again and determine if such actions are draconian or just plain stupid. Try to learn from the mistakes of last year.

plus one other important thing; don't thank me for my sacrifice. Instead, at some stage issue a grovelling apology for the times you screwed up last year and the economic hardship on the way.
