so the parent of a mutual friend dies of pneumonia. The hospital lists the death as corona virus related. The problem is that there wasn't the slightest trace of the virus in her system.

now apparently having the term corona virus related on the death certificate can cause all kinds of problems, but there is a benefit for the hospital in that they get more money. The family, frustrated and upset about this complained to the hospital about this and they offered an undisclosed sum.

the family said forget it, it would be better to sue the hospital instead.

so this is just one example. It makes me wonder how many other cases are like this in the statistics? In the state of Victoria? In Australia? Worldwide?

makes me think has there been a car accident, or a gun death that was corona virus related. Someone who fell off a cliff or had a building collapse on them.

also, what problems occur with funerals when the death is corona virus related? I wouldn't mind asking this family, but they have obviously gone through enough stress and grief without me adding to it

and still going though it.
